Wow, they are really going after Toyota.Transportation chief Ray LaHood says Toyota owners should stop driving cars affected by recall. I would like to see some independent stats on how many cars have actually accelerated because of this problem.

There is an article in today's daily mail (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1248177/Toyota-recall-Last-words-father-family-died-Lexus-crash.html) that talks about the problem. The information is not "timely" (the accident was on August 28, 2009) but I think they are releasing this information to give Toyota a black eye where possible.
It's just amazing how this is unravelling for Toyota right now.
Who could have thunk it?
